Dak Prescott mural gets out of the ‘Sunken Place’ and into art gallery in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH — It isn’t the sequel to Get Out, but it is part two of a North Texas artist’s rendition of Dallas’ Q.B.! The mural of Dak Prescott in the “Sunken Place” has gotten almost as much attention as #4 saying he wasn’t going to kneel for the national anthem. They made a sunken place mural of Dak Prescott 😂 pic.twitter.com/hU4NEFPw3r — Abdul Memon (@abdulamemon) August 4, 2018 Not all talk is good talk, though. The paint was barely […]

Dak Prescott ‘Get Out’ mural vandalized in West Dallas

DALLAS – A painting in Trinity Groves depicting Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is sparking conversation throughout the city. The mural originally showed Prescott in the iconic image from the Academy Award-winning movie Get Out, a movie with its own take on stereotypes and race. The mural was created by North Texas muralist Trey Wilder. But the original work was vandalized soon after appearing; blue spray paint creating sunglasses covering Prescott’s eyes and adding comments on the media and billionaire George Soros. […]

Dak Prescott gets “Get Out” inspired mural

DALLAS– With football right around the corner,  NFL teams are gearing up for an interesting season. Just last week Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said all Cowboys players will be required to stand on the field for the National Anthem. A directive quarterback Dak Prescott is kneeling to, saying “I’d never protest during the anthem, and I don’t think that’s the time or the venue to do so. The game of football has always brought me such peace, and I think […]

Cowboys win 6-0 snoozer in Philly to end 2017

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Cowboys and Eagles faced off in Philly with absolutely nothing on the line, and boy did they play like it. It was an ugly, mistake filled game between NFC East Rivals. With the first seed in the NFC wrapped up, the Eagles rested most of their starters and it showed. It was the kind of game so dull that punters forgot to take off their warm up pants when taking the frigid field. Neither team scored […]

Dak leads Dallas past New York to keep playoff hopes alive

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — The Cowboys stormed into New York, wearing a new jersey combo and needing a win against the Giants to keep their playoff hopes alive. For three quarters it was a dog fight with the Boys scrapping for every inch, even finding themselves behind 10-3 to the two-win Giants. But they triumphed in the 4th quarter, pulling away to trounce New York, 30-10 to earn the season sweep over their rivals. After 4 straight rough weeks, Dak […]

Cause of Cowboys struggles? Fans weigh in!

FRISCO — It wasn’t a football Sunday in Dallas, but football was being played at Dallas Cowboys Headquarters in Frisco. In fact, the pick up flag football game going on in front of the Ford Center was actually more competitive than the ‘Boys have been lately. Don’t shoot the messenger! When you’re outscored 92-22 in a three week span, you can’t really argue it. But what’s really wrong with Dallas? We decided to ask the young guns watching at home, […]

Chargers stuff the Cowboys, 28-6

ARLINGTON, TX — It was the annual Thanksgiving classic out at AT&T Stadium… but this was one holiday Cowboys fans will want to forget. The Chargers stuffed the Boys, 28-6, handing Dallas their third straight blowout loss. “We’re all frustrated and we’re going to be frustrated and I’d be pissed if somebody in there isn’t,” Dak Prescott said after the game. “But we’re not going to lose confidence in ourselves.” The Cowboys offense was again toothless without Zeke. They set […]

Cowboys face a must-win on Thanksgiving

FRISCO — The Cowboys don’t have much time to lick their wounds from Sunday’s beat down, and they were back on the practice field today trying to get ready for Thursday’s Turkey Day showdown against the Chargers. How serious is this game? Well at the last minute the Cowboys decided to not allow cameras at today’s practice. Maybe just because of the shortened practice schedule, or maybe Garrett his working on something top secret! And the Cowboys offense might need […]

After blowout loss are the Boys playoff hopes toast?

ARLINGTON, TX — There wasn’t much the Cowboys could say after getting blasted by the Eagles on Sunday night. “They just came out, moving the ball, they were just more dominant than us and they won the game,” Demarcus Lawrence said. And that 37-9 blowout loss ends any hopes the Cowboys had of rallying to win the division, but did it end their playoff hopes entirely? “It would be pretty tough not to panic, but I don’t think we’re panicking,” […]
