Two students at Dallas’ W.T. White High School test positive for tuberculosis

Officials from Dallas County Health and Human Services will be at W.T. White High School Wednesday, testing students for tuberculosis. Health officials say two brothers who attend the Dallas school tested positive for tuberculosis. They say the brothers contracted the disease from their father and are undergoing treatment. Man arrested after repeatedly crashing into Dallas news station building

DALLAS – A man  is in Dallas police custody after allegedly driving a truck into the side of news station KDFW Fox 4’s building early Wednesday morning. You can see in photos posted to social media that the truck slammed into glass windows. A lot of paper was thrown from the truck, littering the outside of the building. Domestic dispute leads to murder-suicide in Carrollton

CARROLLTON – The man Carrollton police say killed his wife in a murder-suicide has been identified as Damien Deriggs. Police say officers were called to a home near Hebron Parkway yesterday afternoon after neighbors called 911 over a domestic dispute at the home. They say when police and SWAT arrived, Deriggs had barricaded himself and his wife inside the home. After several hours, police went into the home and found the couple dead.

Woman tries to scam Southlake police officer on Facebook

SOUTHLAKE – Scammers are getting more bold. The Southlake Police Department has posted a warning about scammers on Facebook. They say a woman tried to get sensitive information on one of the Southlake police officers, even though his profile said ‘officer.’ The officer posted a screenshot of the conversation on Facebook, along with a friendly reminder about knowing who you talk to online.
